Inverter Bypass Box

An inverter bypass box is used to let the generator bypass the inverter and directly feed the AC distribution panel. The box consists of a dual 60A breaker, a single 60A breaker and a special interlock which forces one breaker to be in the "off" position when its mate is "on" and vice-versa. In the on position the generator current flows through the inverter, charging the battery bank and powering the AC loads. In the off position the generator current flows directly to the AC distribution panel and the inverter is completely out of the
circuit. This is useful for testing purposes, or for when the inverter must be removed from the system. The box is prewired and can handle up to 60 amps.

The Power Pro 150 is a small modified sine-wave inverter. Its a good inexpensive way to run a small appliance or a few Osram Dulux EL compact fluorescents.
 This inverter is rated at 150 watts continuous duty and 400 watts surge. It is 90% efficient and has high temperature shut down and overload protection. It is one of the only small inverters to have an on/off
switch. The Power Pro comes with a cigarette lighter plug. An ideal unit to run that one 120 volt item you can't do without.

The Power Pro
 300 is similar to the 150, but with a little higher power output. It has a 300 watt continuous output and a 1000 watt surge capacity. It is 90% efficient at half rated load and draws a .65A no load current. It has a low battery alarm (10.5
vdc), a low battery shutdown (10 vdc), thermal shutdown and a built in cooling fan. It also features short circuit protection and overload protection. It has an on/off switch and comes with battery clamps for hook up to your battery bank. You can also use the included lighter plug and cable for up to 150 watts output.

VAC. A good solution for running 240 VAC equipment from a 120 volt inverter such as a large 240 volt submersible pump. The T240 can also be used as a balancing transformer to to get full 120 volt power from a 240 volt generator.

The Invertek
true sinewave inverters may be just what's needed to run that one small load your modified sinewave inverter can't power without noise (or possibly at all). We've powered an AM radio with the DAI 0300L and it worked just fine. Powering an AM radio with a modified sinewave inverter just results in a lot of noise. They could also be used for portable drill and cell phone battery chargers. Higher end stereo equipment, including a turntable,
will also work without any objectionable noise. The Inverteks are well made, housed in an aluminum chassis. They feature the usual under and over voltage protection, over-temperature shutdown, and overload protection. They
consume 8 to 10 watts in the "ON" mode. Inverter cables are included.
